A 22-year-old Ngunnawal man has been arrested by police in relation to a bikie shooting in Canberra's south earlier this year.

An ACT Policing spokeswoman said Taskforce Nemesis detectives arrested the 22-year-old on Thursday in relation to the shooting of a man on March 12.

The 36-year-old man was wounded after he answered the door of his Stirling home in one of three bikie-related shootings in the capital that night

Police said the victim – who has links to an outlaw motorcycle gang – suffered ankle and shoulder wounds in the incident, which occurred about 10pm.

The spokeswoman said Thursday's arrest came after police found a shotgun during a search of a Ngunnawal property on April 24.

She said the 22-year-old man was an alleged member of the Comanchero Outlaw Motorcycle Gang and was charged with intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm.

He will face the ACT Magistrates Court Friday morning where police say bail will be opposed.
