Three suspected Finks and Mongol outlaw bikie gangs charged over fight at West Lakes apartment

POLICE have arrested three suspected outlaw motorcycle gang members from rival clubs after an alleged fight at West Lakes.

Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested the men today and will allege they were involved in a fight outside a West Lakes apartment complex about midday on Sunday, October 5.

A 36-year-old Royal Park man, who police suspect is a member of the Mongols bikie gang, was charged with affray, or fighting in public.

He was bailed to appear in court at a later date.

A West Lakes man, 27, and an Edwardstown man, 26, who are allegedly members of the Finks outlaw motorcycle gang, were also charged with affray.

The West Lakes man was bailed, but the Edwardstown man was remanded in custody.

A police spokeswoman said there were still members of the Finks in South Australia, despite many of them repatching as Mongols.

Detective Chief Inspector Kym Hand, of Crime Gangs Task Force, said police would not let community safety be compromised by motorcycle gang members fighting in public.
