TWO bikie gang members have been
linked to a stash of guns and drugs
uncovered by police southeast of Brisbane.
Detectives part of Taskforce Maxima — a
taskforce targeting bikie crime — allegedly
found 14 cannabis plants, two shotguns, several
rifles, explosives and a Taser at a Thornlands
home on Tuesday.
A 42-year-old Thornlands man has been ordered
to face the Cleveland Magistrates Court next
month on charges including producing a dangerous
drug, unlawful possession of explosives, and
five counts of unlawful possession of a weapon.
A 23-year-old Thornlands man was offered drug
diversion for allegedly possessing a dangerous
drug and drug equipment.
Police allege both men are members of the
Rebels motorcycle gang.
