Dan Ian Kilian accused of trafficking drugs using girlfriend’s car
Dan Ian Kilian, 22, is said to have been caught on CCTV picking up about 2000 ecstasy (MDMA) pills in a backpack from the M on Mary apartments in Brisbane’s CBD in July 2014.
Police say he was driving a grey Holden Cruze with NSW plates that was registered to his then-girlfriend Luka Rose Alford, 20, when he picked up the drugs from mid-level dealer Bing Crosby Cosca, 29.
A week earlier, police claim Kilian was also caught on CCTV picking up drugs from Cosca at the Sparkles car wash in the underground carpark of the Myer Centre.
Dubbed “the big fella”, prosecutors say Kilian was a passenger in a BMW driven by patched Rebels bikie Josh Lucey, whom police believe was Kilian’s “sponsor” to become a “prospect” member of the Tweed Coast Chapter of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle club.
Prosecutors officially presented a two count indictment including a charge of trafficking in dangerous drugs before Justice David Boddice this morning.
The case has been adjourned until September 7 and Kilian remains on bail.
