Lowering Blocks.

Given as my poor old arthritic  frame (me, not the bike...) has been finding it harder to get on and off I thought I'd try lowering the rear a bit..

First job, remove top and bottom shock nuts on one side..

Tthen remove shock and discover bolt wont come out without removing rear wheel and caliper bracket...

This however is what 4" grinders were invented for...( yes yes, rough as fuck...)

Fortunately it wasn't a $3000 paintjob anyway...

Then fit this little bugger that comes with its own hardware by the way of chrome allen key bolts

The other side was almost a problem but it just sneaked past , with a small persuader...

Here's the end result, quite a severe shock angle, when the batteries charged I'll see how much it scrapes now....

It has made it easier for me to get on tho, so its a help....chain needs tightening now too...

Christ my head needs some work...

Getting Lynny to sit on it so I can see what it looks like...
