THE Gold Coast's most notorious
bikie gang has brokered a deal with a US
powerhouse in a deliberate push to become a
global outlaw force.
At least 90 per cent of the Finks nationwide
will patch over and join with the Mongols to
become arguably the most powerful outlaw gang in
the country.
Brokered in the past week, deal includes the
Finks handing in their club support gear and
erasing or disguising club tattoos as they wait
for official Mongol colours to arrive.
The patch over of almost the entire club is
believed to be largest ever seen in Australia
and will see the Mongols become a major outlaw
force of more than 400 members.
The move will realise the Finks goal to go
global, giving them "respect" and a voice on the
international stage.
According to their website, the Mongols have
chapters in the US, Mexico, Norway, Spain,
Thailand, Germany, Malaysia, France and Israel.
Senior Finks have not ordered members to join
the US club, leaving the decision to individual
members.
See
Wednesday's Gold Coast Bulletin for the police
reaction to the patch over.
