An Outlaw Motorcycle Gang member has been charged after
allegedly threatening a police officer in Sydney.
About midnight (Saturday 2 February 2013), security attached to a casino in
Pyrmont called police after members from two separate motorcycle gangs were
seen at the premises.
Police from Strike Force Raptor spoke to four members of the Finks OMCG
inside the casino, with one of the man allegedly threatening to assault one
of the Constables.
As a result the 27-year-old Canberra man was arrested and taken to City
Central Police Station where he was charged with intimidate police and
offensive conduct.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on
22 February 2013.
Police at the casino also spoke to three Comanchero members out the front of
the premises.
A 31-year-old man in that group allegedly used offensive language towards
the officers and it is expected he will be issued a future court attendance
notice for offensive language.
