64yo man pleads not guilty to murdering bikie

A 64-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to murdering a former bikie gang member in the Wheatbelt town of Koorda.
James Stephen Callaghan entered the plea when he appeared in the Supreme Court in Perth today via video link from Hakea prison.
It is alleged he shot Gavin McMaster, 46, during an altercation in February.
McMaster was a former member of the Rebels gang who was set alight while serving a prison term for shooting two rival gang members at a Bunbury nightclub.
Provisional dates were set for Mr Callaghan's trial in March next year.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in court again next month
