Man stabbed during NSW brawl with bikies

A MAN has been stabbed in the stomach and chest following a brawl with four bikies at a hotel in central western NSW.

The members of the Life and Death bikie gang were at a hotel on Bandulla Street, Mendooran, when a fight started about 11.15pm (AEST) on Saturday.

A 41-year-old man, who wasn't a gang member, was allegedly stabbed, sustaining wounds to his abdomen and chest.

Police and paramedics were called but all four bikies had fled in a white van.

The injured man was taken hospital where he remains in a stable condition, police said.

Following investigations, police went to a home at Merrygoen with a crime scene warrant.

They allegedly discovered a white van, a small calibre loaded five-shot pistol, knuckle dusters, a small amount of cannabis and a knife.

Four men were arrested at the home and taken to the local police station.

One of them has been charged with weapons and drug offences and has been granted conditional bail to appear at Coonabarabran Court on October 25.

The other three men have been released pending further inquiries, police said.
