A 42-year-old Rebels motorcycle gang member is being questioned by police over firearms and a trafficable amount of drugs seized from his home in Calista.

Gang crime squad officers raided the Edmund Way home just before 9am today and found a self-loading handgun, cash, cannabis and a trafficable quantity of a substance believed to be methylamphetamine.

The 42-year-old bikie was the only one home during the raid and he is still being questioned at the house. No charges have yet been laid.

A second raid reportedly linked to stolen bikes, handguns and drugs took place at a Morley house this afternoon. The raid is also understood to be bikie related.
