POLICE have charged a senior bikie over a shooting at Darlinghurst strip club Bada Bing earlier this week.
The man charged has been named as Ricky Anthony Ciano, 29, from Bondi. He is linked to the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang.
Police allege Ciano opened fire in the strip club just before 2am on Monday, hitting one man and sending strippers and patrons diving for cover.
Three shots were allegedly fired across the dance floor after five men began pushing and shoving each other during an altercation about 1.40am.
One man who was drinking at the nightspot at the time said: "All we heard was, 'Bang, bang, bang'. We turned around, we just seen someone running to a car and drive off."
Police were called to the club on Darlinghurst Road where they found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
He was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
About 10am today, detectives from Kings Cross Local Area Command arrested Ciano at Parramatta.
He was charged with attempted murder and firearm offences.
Police will allege he is a senior member of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Parramatta Local Court later today.
