A 47-year-old woman linked to an outlaw
bikie group has been charged with multiple firearm and drug
offences.
Police searched a house at Mt
Druitt, in Sydney's west, allegedly linked to a senior member of
the Rebels motorcycle group, on Monday afternoon.
Officers allegedly seized three
rifles, a shotgun, fireworks and more than $17,000 in cash.
Marijuana, amphetamines, steroids
and drug paraphernalia were also found.
On Tuesday, a 51-year-old man
alleged to be a high-ranking member of the Rebels attended Mount
Druitt police station but he was released pending further
inquiries.
Shortly after 10am (AEDT) on
Thursday, the 47-year-old woman attended the same police station
and was arrested.
She was charged with five counts
of possessing a banned drug, two counts of supplying a
prohibited drug of an indictable quantity, two counts of
supplying a banned drug, dealing with the proceeds of crime,
seven unregistered firearm charges and not keeping a firearm
safe.
The woman, from Mount Druitt, was
granted conditional bail to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court
on November 17.
