Suspected arson attack on Nomads Newcastle clubhouse

Police cordon off the Nomads clubhouse at Islington after an early morning fire.
Police have set up a crime scene at the Newcastle headquarters of the Nomads motorcycle gang after a suspected arson attack early this morning.
The fire broke out just after 2:00am (AEDT) at the clubhouse in Chin Chen Street, Islington.
Fire and rescue crews contained the fire to one room, but say there was extensive damage.
Forensic investigators are at the site to determine how the fire started.
