Alleged Bikies Charged with licquor offences (Shock Horror!!!)

 

 

The alleged sergeant-at-arms and president of the Deniliquin Outlaws motorcycle gang chapter has been charged under the Liquor Act.

The pair were charged by officers under strike forces Fermium and Raptor after a Napier Street address was searched early this morning.

Police executed the warrant around 6am today and in the process arrested the alleged 36-year-old sergeant-at-arms, the 42-year-old alleged president and a 34-year-old woman.

The trio are accused of running an unlicensed premises at the Napier Street address and of serving alcohol to patrons without a licence. All three have since been charged.

Crime manager of the Deniliquin Local Area Command, Detective Inspector Darren Cloake, said the charges came after concerns from the community were raised about outlaw motorcycle gang activity in the region.

“Police have heard these concerns and taken action to shut this illegal activity down and urge individuals to think before associating with this group,” he said.

More arrests are anticipated.
