COFFS Harbour police found a stun device inside the vehicle of an outlaw motorcycle club member during a routine vehicle stop.

The Mistubishi Pajero was pulled over by officers attached to the dog squad on the Pacific Highway on Friday about 9.35pm.

Police said the four-wheel-drive contained two men, a 22-year-old male Finks Outlaw Motorcycle Gang member and a 25-year-old man, also alleged to be associated with an OMCG.

A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered an electronic stun device disguised as a 'mobile phone'.

The device was seized for forensic analysis.
