Police investigating a bikie-related murder have released chilling footage of nine men, five armed with guns, marching to the Adelaide death scene.

The CCTV footage shows the hooded men striding to the front door of a workshop, before shots are fired and the men run from the paint and panel shop.

Jason De Ieso, 33, was gunned down in November last year and the South Australian government has since offered a $500,000 reward.

Assistant Commissioner Paul Dickson says the images are confronting and terrible.

Police are close to making arrests and have spoken to the nine men they believe are depicted in the footage.

"Our belief is the nine people are either members of the Hells Angels or associates of the Hells Angels," he told journalists.

Police believe the killing is linked to rivalry between the outlaw motorcycle club and the Finks bikie gang.

Assistant Commissioner Dickson is appealing for public help in identifying the nine men.
