Police raids fail to net wanted man
The last man in an alleged criminal group that triggered raids across Wellington continues to elude police.
The armed offenders squad raided a Berhampore property connected to the Satans Slaves motorcycle gang and an Upper Hutt property on Monday morning, after a motorcycle engine and cash were stolen in a Masterton robbery last month.
A 31-year-old was arrested in the raids, where police also found ammunition and cannabis plants, but Porky Rimene, aka Paul Rodgers, 38, remains wanted.
Police say he has gang connections, is considered dangerous, and is believed to be in Wellington or Wairarapa.
Three men have now been arrested in connection with the robbery and face charges including participating in an organised criminal group
