ONE of the state's most powerful bikie bosses will be spending yet another night behind bars after failing to make bail. ''I've got to count the noughts,'' said the magistrate, Lee Gilmour, referring to the $100,000 in cash that bankrupt Hells Angels boss Felix Lyle needs to produce in order to be released from custody.

Mr Lyle, 54, was arrested on Thursday and charged over three serious fraud offences and one count of knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime.

Mr Lyle's solicitor, Martin Ricci, said yesterday the charges had been ''blown out of all proportion''. He said Mr Lyle was ''in good spirits'' and would be ''vigorously defending'' the charges. The matter returns to court on Tuesday.
