Outlaw motorcycle gang member charged with drug supply - Penrith

Police charged an alleged outlaw motorcycle gang member with multiple drug offences in Penrith yesterday.

 

About 3.30pm (Tuesday 24 April 2012), police from the Penrith Local Area Command were travelling on Cooper Street, when had cause to stop and search a Hyundai Grandeur.

 

It is alleged that during a search of the vehicle, police located a total of 17.7 grams of amphetamine, in the driver’s side foot well.

 

A 31-year-old man was arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station.

 

He was charged with supply prohibited drug greater than an indictable quantity, supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug, hinder discovery evidence, and goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen.

 

The man was bail refused and will appear before Parramatta Bail Court today (Wednesday 25 April 2012)
