AN outlaw motorcycle gang member has been charged with attempting to import 10 Taser stun guns into Queensland.
Officers from Taskforce Hydra, which targets outlaw bikie gangs, raided a home in Gladstone, about 550km north of Brisbane, and arrested the 39-year-old Black Uhlans gang member on Monday.
A number of items were seized including cannabis, computers and a large sum of cash.
The man was charged with possession of a dangerous drug.
He's also been charged with attempting to import a prohibited item.
"The charges relate to the alleged attempted importation of 10 conducted electrical devices (Tasers)," police said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Members of Task Force Hydra seized the weapons with the assistance of the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service."
