Caringbah motorcycle gang member charged with importing steroids

from
Caringbah
will
appear
in court
next
month,
charged
with
importing
and
possessing
steroids.
A joint
operation
by
Customs
and
Border
Protection
and the
Strike
Force
Raptor
detectives
led to
the
man’s
arrest
in a
supplement
store at
Cronulla
yesterday.
Customs
and
Border
Protection
intercepted
a
package
from
China
containing
50
packets
of
anabolic
steroids,
police
said.
Each
packet
contained
50
capsules
of the
prescribed
restricted
substance.
After
police
were
told,
detectives
replaced
the
contents
with a
fake
substance.
The
parcel
was
delivered
to a
Croydon
Street
shop and
found by
police
after
they
raided
the
property.
A
Caringbah
man was
arrested
at the
store,
police
said. A
further
search
warrant
on a
Lynch
Avenue
house,
Caringbah,
resulted
in a
small
amount
of
steroids
and
other
items
being
seized.
The man
was
charged
with
importing
a
prohibited
import
and
possessing
a
prescribed
restricted
substance.
He was
granted
bail to
appear
at
Sutherland
Local
Court on
November
17.
Inquiries
into a
second
resident
who was
not home
at the
time of
the
warrant
are
continuing.
