A tattoo parlour owned by the Rock Machine
outlaw bikie gang was damaged by a fire last
night, the latest in a series of suspected
fire bombing attacks in recent months.
Fire fighters were called to the tattoo shop
on Jarrad Street in Cottesloe, near the
intersection of Stirling Highway, just after
1am today.
It is believed to be owned by member of the
Rock Machine outlaw motorcycle gang, whose
Kardinya clubhouse was badly damaged by a
suspicious fire last month.
The $60,000 blaze on August 4 came less than
two weeks after a Rebels-run property was
firebombed in Bibra Lake.
In June, a Mullaloo tattoo parlour run by
the Rebels was gutted in another suspicious
fire, causing more than $150,000 damage.
Last night's fire has been determined as
suspicious, and arson squad officers will
investigate the blaze.
The fire was believed to have been sparked
at the rear of the building, and caused
about $20,000 damage.
