More guns uncovered in the Hills

STRIKE Force Raptor officers seized a quantity of firearms including an SKS assault rifle when they raised a storage unit in Packard Ave, Castle Hill, yesterday.

As well as the assault rifle, officers found a loaded sawn-off shotgun, a loaded .22 calbire rifle and about 1000 rounds of ammunition.

The storage unit is believed to be linked to the Nortorious outlaw motorcycle gang.

On Friday shots were fired at the Tattoo World shop opposite the Bull and Bush Hotel on Seven Hills Rd, Baulkham Hills at about 2.40am.

Five shots were found in the security roller door at the front.  The tattoo parlour is believed to have links with the Hells Angels bikie gang.

On Thursday an alleged member of the Notorious bikie gang was arrested at a house in Glenhaven Rd, Glenhaven by officers from Strike Force Raptor.

The man, 24, was charged with possessing unauthorised firearms, not keeping them safely and possessing ammunition without authority.

Police allege they discovered a loaded .77 calibre pistol, a loaded .44 calibre revolver, a .44 calibre semi-automatic pistol, a starter’s pistol, ammunition, several knives, steroids and a small amount of cannabis.

The man is due before Parramatta Court on April 15 to face seven charges.
