POLICE divers will begin searching a creek in Sydney's southwest today, trying to find a firearm allegedly used to shoot Hells Angel Peter Zervas.
Mr Zervas was gunned down in March 2009 as he got out of his car in Lakemba.
He survived the attack and two brothers, Richard and Christopher Fong, allegedly members of the rival Comanchero bikie gang, were charged this week with conspiracy to murder and participating in a criminal group.
The pair were arrested on Monday and appeared in Waverley Local Court on Tuesday.
Police divers will begin
searching for the gun at
Salt Pan Creek in
Revesby Heights from
9.30am (AEST) today.
Detectives are also
hunting for a green
Holden Commodore which
may have been used to
conduct surveillance on
Mr Zervas before the
shooting.
Police will also speak with Lakemba residents to try to locate further witnesses.
A week before Mr Zervas was shot, his brother Anthony was killed in a brawl at Sydney airport between Hells Angels and Comanchero bikies.
