Man seriously assaulted - Blacktown

Sunday, 08 April 2012 06:35:07 AM

Blacktown Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted at Seven Hills overnight.

Just after midnight a triple zero (000) call was received from a man who claimed that he had been assaulted and stabbed and was at Seven Hills Railway Station.

Emergency services attended a short time later and located a 28-year-old man who had suffered serious injuries.

The man would not assist investigators from Blacktown Local Area Command and indicated only that he had been assaulted at another location.

The man was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics and conveyed to hospital suffering two broken ankles, two fractured knee caps, two broken arms and multiple stab wounds, lacerations and abrasions.

Blacktown Police attended a nearby OMCG (outlaw motorcycle gang) club house on the Prospect Highway in an effort to determine the circumstance surrounding the incident.

Officers also conducted a canvass of the area but were unable to locate any witnesses to the incident.

Local police will liaise with the State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad regarding this incident.
