Winter riding.
Jees we're lucky here at the moment, middle of winter and 22deg, and sunny.Below is the view from the kitchen this morning, so we had to go for a ride.Hadnt been out for a couple of weeks, been lazy since the brissy trip, and of course the battery wasnt gonna be cooperative. 1/2 hr on the charger was all it needed tho and orf we went. Ambled north on The Entrance Road for about 30 km, then right up the Pacific Highway. I swear the bike steered itself to the Catho pub at Catherine Hill Bay.(About 30kms south of Newcastle)
Turned off just b4 the pub to have a look at the beach...nice or what..
Eclectic mix of bikes outside the pub..old xs650 yammy, year 2000 1100 Moto Guzzi and a couple of new Triumphs and Jappas.
Friendly sorts hit this place, and I always end up yakking with someone...
Not to be missed, publican loves bikes and riders, and they do a good meal...Had a meal for two of us for $15, so its good value.Stayed an hour or two, then took the quick way home for a blast down the F3, and lucky for a change saw no cops...
