A
bench
warrant
has
been
issued
for
the
arrest
of a
man
accused
of
murdering
a
former
bikie
gang
member.
Johnny
Montani
was
scheduled
to
appear
in
the
Supreme
Court
this
morning
but
failed
to
attend.
He
was
due
to
face
trail
for
the
third
time
on a
charge
of
wilfully
murder
Kevin
Woodhouse,
who
was
shot
outside
an
aquatic
centre
in
Bayswater
in
May
2004.
Mr
Montani's
first
trial
ended
with
a
hung
jury.
In
his
second
trial,
he
was
acquitted
by
the
judge
but
the
Director
of
Public
Prosecutions
successfully
appealed
against
the
decision
and
a
another
trial
was
ordered.
Mr
Montani's
lawyer
told
the
court
today
he
was
unable
to
provide
an
explanation
for
why
his
client
had
not
turned
up.
