Three members of the Coffin Cheaters motorcycle gang and
a club associate have been charged as part of a police crackdown in
Bunbury.
Officers from the Gang Crime Squad raided the club's Bunbury
headquarters in Zoe Street last Thursday and shut down a bar they allege
was operating illegally at the premises.
Police seized $4,000 worth of alcohol and a large sum of cash.
Two gang members have been charged with selling liquor without a permit
and are due to face court in July.
A second operation, run by local police at the weekend, targeted
licensed premises in Bunbury's central business district.
It resulted in a 25-year-old gang associate being charged with
possessing amphetamines and a 42-year-old gang member being arrested on
a breach of bail warrant.
