A BIKIE boss and his brother are facing gun and drug charges after a dawn raid
on their outer Sydney home by heavily armed police.
Rebels Windsor chapter president Terry Honnery, 40, and his 44-year-old brother
Gavin were arrested when State Protection Group officers stormed the Grose Vale
address on Tuesday.
Police described the raid, sparked by a tip-off about the presence of a
prohibited weapon at the house, as "high risk".
Gangs Squad detectives have alleged they subsequently discovered a fully loaded
.303 rifle, ammunition, a quantity of cannabis, and a small amount of white
powder thought to be amphetamine, at the property.
Terry Honnery was later questioned at Windsor police station and charged with
possessing and supplying a prohibited drug, goods in custody, failing to keep a
firearm safely, possessing ammunition and possessing an unauthorised firearm.
He appeared in Central Local Court on Wednesday, and was remanded in custody and
is scheduled to make a further application for bail on August 9.
Police said Gavin Honnery was charged with possessing a prohibited drug. He was
conditionally bailed to appear in Windsor Local Court on August 24.
