Bikie gang members' trial
THE trial of five members of a bikie gang, accused of waging a
war of terror against a former policeman will start in Perth
today.
The bikies, members of the WA chapter of the Gypsy Jokers,
believed the policeman had shot one of their own.
Graeme Slater, Leslie Thomas Hoddy, Gary Ernest White, Richard Lee Samuels and Robert Darren Stupar face charges of attempted arson and wilfully causing an explosion likely to cause serious injury to property.
The trial will revisit the bombings of properties owned by former head of detectives Don Hancock in the WA Goldfields town of Ora Banda.
Billy Griersono was shot dead outside the historic Ora Banda
Inn, owned by Mr Hancock.
