Western Australian police attached to the gang response unit have
raided a post office box (I have a vision of the box
surrounded by a swat team....)and suburban home.
Officers searched the box in the Perth suburb of Willetton
yesterday afternoon after receiving information that a man had
been removing thousands of dollars in cash and jewellery from it.
They believe he is an associate of the Gypsy Joker motorcycle
gang.
Officers then raided a Maddington house belonging to a woman who
also had access to the post office box.
Acting Detective Sergeant Dave Ellery says the significance of
the operation is yet to be determined.
"We're further progressing inquiries until all those
inquiries have been exhausted," he said.
