August 2, 2006 - 11:38AM
An alleged office bearer of an outlawed motorcycle gang has been
refused bail after drugs and a bolt action rifle were allegedly seized during a
police raid in NSW.
Terry Grahame Honnery, 40, faced Sydney Central Local Court today after a raid
on his house in Grose Vale in Sydney's north-west.
Gangs squad detectives alleged Honnery holds the title of office bearer in an
outlawed motorcycle gang, but has not specified his specific role or the gang
involved.
The court was told Honnery had seven satchels of amphetamine and an Enfield .303
bolt action rifle at the house on Grose Vale Road.
He has been charged with possessing and supplying a prohibited drug, goods in
custody, not keeping a firearm safely, possessing ammunition and possessing an
unauthorised firearm.
Honnery was refused bail by Magistrate Gail Madgwick, who remanded him in
custody to face Penrith Local Court on August 9.
A 44-year-old man who was also arrested at the scene and charged with possessing
a prohibited drug was conditionally bailed to appear in Windsor Local Court on
August 24.
