Trio arrested after man shot
May 01, 2006
THREE people, including a member of a bikie gang, have been arrested over the
suspected drug-related shooting of a man in Adelaide.
Detectives arrested a 26 year-old man and a woman, 22, at a Seacliff tattoo
parlour this afternoon and charged them both with attempted murder.
Police say they will allege the shooting was drug related and that the charged
man, of Sheidow Park, is a member of the Finks Motorcycle gang.
A second man was arrested at his Findon home after police allegedly found
cannabis and a firearm on the premises.
The 21-year-old victim, who was shot in the back, had earlier told police he had
been walking through the carpark of the Ingle Farm Shopping Centre win the
city's north overnight when he was approached several people in a red Holden
Commodore.
When he refused their demands for money, he ran off, heard a "bang" and felt
something hit him in the back.
The wounded man remains in a stable condition in Royal Adelaide Hospital.
