DRIVE-BY MURDER... Properties searched
Wallaroo murder victim, Steven Hydon, and his fiancee.
Police have confirmed three Copper Coast properties were searched
last Friday, for evidence concerning the drive-by murder at
Wallaroo on May 30 of Gypsy Jokers Motorcycle gang member, Steven
Hydon.
The three locations for the searches were Robinson Road, Kadina;
Newland Road, Kadina; and Robert Street, Moonta.
July 14 is the date set for the two local men last week charged
with the murder (and remanded in custody) to reappear in
Elizabeth Magistrates Court.
The call for anyone in the vicinity of the Weeroona Hotel before
or after the shooting, who may have witnessed any part of the
crime, to make contact with police still stands. Any information
will be held in the strictest of confidence.

Police also confirm there is an Internal Investigation Branch
inquiry underway into the allegation a local police officer
attended the fatal shooting while intoxicated.
