Businessman fronts court over gun charge
Perth businessman and identity John Kizon has made a
brief appearance in court accused of helping dispose of a gun fired during a
gang related clash at a nightclub at the weekend.
The charge arose out of an incident where one man was
stabbed and another was injured.
It is believed to have involved members of the Coffin
Cheaters motorcycle gang and an ethnic gang called the Sword Boys.
Kizon's lawyer told the court his client would be
pleading not guilty to the charge.
Kizon was released on $5,000 bail and was ordered not
to contact witnesses involved in the case.
He will reappear in court next month.
