Club employee charged over gang violence
Thursday, 3 February 2005
A fifth person has been charged in relation to a
violent gang-related incident at a Perth nightclub last month.
Adam Wayne Lloyd, 34, is alleged to have hindered the
police investigation into the incident in which a member of the Coffin
Cheaters bikie gang was stabbed, and a member of a gang called the Scorpian
Boys was shot.
Lloyd has been charged with attempting to pervert the
course of justice.
He is due to appear in court next week.
Detective Sergeant Greg Sells says Lloyd is an
employee of the nightclub.
"The allegation is he instructed others and attempted
to clean the crime scene before the arrival of police," he said.
Four others have been charged, including the two men
who were injured.
