The Great (big pain in the arse..) Rebuild!
Down to MAS at Parramatta bright and early to spend another few hundred dollars on parts...Bloody braided lines, christ theyre dear...New softtail style dash to put on the tanks, but of course, as I suspected theres a problem due to the wider dyna frame.As ya can see the dash dont cover le hole...I think Ill get a leather panel made to go under it and do the bottom as well.
Brake lines fitted, this shot doesnt show it too well, but theres quite a gap at the front between the tank and the frame due to a sort of recess at 45deg at the front of the tank..f knows what for, Ill have to look at a softtail..
Gonna pull the tanks and guard off again to clearcoat tomorrow morning, aah the joys of it all.. covered in shit again....The biker spirit is alive and well , got a heap of info on painting from Wolfs message board..check it out...
