Cams Run

G'day Dino,

Cam here,

Drew rang us up, & said that he was catchin' up with his family members (brothers & brothers in law) from Wagga, the South Coast, & the North Coast, sure some of em' rode jappas, but they were good blokes anywayz' heh-heh

They called it the 5B run (Brothers, Bikes, Beers, Broads & Bands).

Heres some pics' from around the traps.

Couple of the blokes relaxin'

As a mix, the run got out & about round Wagga,  Newcastle, Mt.White, Kurrajong Heights, & into Richmond...as for me, early Saturday morning I somehow zoned out on the M2 listenin to my ipod thingy blastin' & almost ended up in Canberra...Don't even ask how I managed that one (I blame it on the night b-4).

Richmond Inn - Good feed

Anyways, I finally met up with the group, but while waiting' for em, I was leaning on my bike havin' a smoke & outta nowhere this car comes flyin around a corner & an almighty screechin' of tyres & metal grindin' the pavement, a woman about 75 in the shade sittin on one of those motorised executive wheelchair thingys (with a seat like an ultraglide, complete with radio, etc...) is gettin' dragged along upside down under the front of this cars fender, car ended up stoppin bout 20 mtrs down the road.

This is Chris, an absolute 'Stone' nutter...Has a bunch of restored bikes just like in the movie.

So I spent the next 40 minutes lookin after this woman, while waitin for the ambos. Inspector Plod turned up purty quick (after bout 15 mins or so) & wouldn't u' know who they came straight after, me ! (must of been the way I was dressed, hah-hah, couldn't they tell I was riding fer f' sake).
So I nursed this woman in me lap, holding her arm (looked fairly bad & she was in a lotta pain) keepin' her from movin. End story to the best of my knowledge, is she came out fine, fingers crossed, same can't be said about the freaked out young bloke that hit her.

The 1st day of the run finished up on Saturday at the Richmond Inn/Hotel/Motel, not a bad spot, good rooms, kind locals, good food & bike friendly, all good ingredients when you are lookin' for somewhere to stay when tired & saddle sore.

Dang, the locals even shouted the whole group of us a round of shots when we got there, talk about surprised. Good fellaz'

Gearin' up, with a hangover from hell & back !

Sharin' a yarn & blowin' events outta proportion, bahahah

Back of Richmond Inn, where the rooms are, as I said, Bike friendly, good 2 c' (except when we started em' up bright & early in the mornin)

Drew' got to run his Lowrider in, goes alright I reckon.

Somehow a local dragged me on the dance floor, never again.

Some hard yards on these ones, we had to stop for go-gas a little more than them.

 Mick ready to head off.

Enjoyin' a cold one after the long day, & headin' into a long night, hah

Sunday was a whole other story, more to come on that !
Cheers, Cam
