Gladatorial Splendour
Did the usual wait on the freeway for the boys coming up from the city, then it was a perfect freeway blast to the first gas stop.
Starting to warm up by then, and after a few cold drinks it was on to the Maitland pub for a meal and respite in the air-conditioning.
Then on to the show. My pictures dont do it justice as usual....a great selection of customs, restorations and historical gems as well as hot rods (that I got no pictures of..)
Possibly because I was about to succumb to the increasing heat.....Anyway the pictures tell about 1/10 of the story , seeing there were 3 or 4 great bands,
as well as a tattoo show, and entertainment for the adults....The sun went down and everyone breathed a sigh of relief and concentrated on enjoying one of the best days in the bikers calendar. Thanks to Gladiators MC for their hospitality.
