the car is almost finished now so we will get stuck into the bike in the new year.

'm not too sure about the colour tho . anyway too many other things things to do

( the orange tank is the one that looked like
the surface of the moon . the paint is chev orange engine enamel . ) did you
know that you can cut and polish engine enamel ?

3/12/03 " I've been playing around with tank an bar combo's over the last few weeks , my new sporster tank finally arrived from the states , ( I ordered it and paid for it on the 7th of june , hows that for quick service ) anyway it's here at long last and I think I'll go with the ape's ( 16 inch ) as well . Any way it's another step closer ......,

 

 

YEA IT'S FINALLY COMING TOGETHER.YES WELL ,ENGINE YEAR ? THAT'S A DIFFICULT ONE, THE CASE'S ARE TR6 BUT THE INTERNALS ARE ALL 750 ( LATE MODEL , THE HEAD HAS EXTRA STUD ) . AT A GUESS , WE THINK THAT WHO EVER OWNED IT MAY HAVE THROWN A FOOT OUT OF BED AND DESTROYED THE ORIGINAL CASE'S. WHO KNOW'S THE 650 CASE'S MAY HAVE BEEN THE ONLY ONE'S AVAILABLE. LUCKY EVERYTHING IS INTERCHANGEABLE. IT'S DEFINETLY ALL 750 RIGHT DOWN TO THE 5 SPEED GEAR BOX . MOTOR NEED'S A FEW SMALL THING'S LIKE NEW PRIMARY CHAIN,A FEW CAPHEAD SCREWS AND CASE STUDS, A NEW SET OF CARB'S.( never waste time with second hand amal's) HOPEFULLY THATS ABOUT ALL, MY FATHER INLAW WHO'S A TRIUMPH MECHANIC RECKON'S  IF IT WAS HIS MOTOR HE'D JUST PUT IT BACK TOGETHER AND RUN IT AS IS, HE'S HAD A GOOD LOOK AT IT AND SEEM'S TO THINK IT'S REASONABLY SOUND ( IF THATS  POSSIBLE FOR A TRIUMPH) SO TIME WILL TELL. I TELL YOU WHAT IT'S NO FUN SITTING HERE WITH A GUT FULL OF STITCHE'S WHEN I COULD BE OUT IN THE WORK SHOP PLAYING WITH MY BABY , I KEEP HEARING THIS VOICE YELLING , YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO BE DOING THAT ( DA WIFE )
