A Hells Angel bikie associate has remarkably survived a hit on his life after he was ambushed in the driveway of his Sydney home.
Radwan Zraika, a man with a long and colourful history, was pulling up his car at his home in Chester Hill in the south-western suburbs on Wednesday night.

The gunman jumped out of a car, possibly a blue Holden Commodore, and fired a number of shots at Mr Zraika through the window.
The 39-year-old was struck by either bullets or shrapnel above his ear and on his hand.
Despite the gunshot wounds, he made it into his home, where a 16-year-old relative was, and paramedics were called.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he remained under tight security on Thursday and was expected to undergo surgery for injuries to his hand.
Bankstown Local Area Command Detective Chief Inspector Glen Fitzgerald said Mr Zraika's condition was somewhat miraculous.
"However I will state there [are] no
heroics involved here," he said.
"This man is well-known to police.
"The shooting is targeted and police are
currently still investigating various links and inquiries."
Police believe Mr Zraika was associated with the Hells Angels OMCG, which last year set up a chapter in Punchbowl.
The club was given the green light to move into the south-west territory after permission from a well-known crime family in the area.
But sources say that relationship has since soured, leading to tension between the two groups.
Mr Zraika also had a history with notorious Supermax inmate and Brothers for Life gang founder Bassam Hamzy.
In the early 2000s, he was charged with conspiring to murder a potential Crown witness at the behest of notorious Supermax inmate and crime figure Bassam Hamzy.
The target was the brother of a man who was with Hamzy on the night he shot and killed Kris Toumazis near the Mr Goodbar nightclub on Oxford Street in 1998.
Hamzy, who went on to start the Brothers for Life gang, wanted Khaled Hammoud dead as he believed he was giving police information about that night.
It was the Crown case that Hamzy arranged for Mr Zraika to find Mr Hammoud so a third party could kill him.
While Hamzy was convicted of conspiring to murder, Mr Zraika was found not guilty at trial.
Detectives returned to the scene on Priam Street on Thursday to doorknock surrounding homes and search for any CCTV of the incident or the getaway car.
It is understood police are examining the hard drive from a CCTV system on Mr Zraika's home.
As he was being loaded into an ambulance, a woman yelled out to him, asking if he was all right.
"Yeah, I'm all right," he said, raising his hand.
"I love you. You take care," the woman responded.
