Alleged Finks bikie capsicum-sprayed, arrested at Prospect

AN alleged member of the Finks motorcycle gang has been capsicum-sprayed and arrested after resisting arrest by a police officer.

A police patrol spotted the 30-year-old Prospect man driving a black BMW motorcycle along Olive St in Prospect.

The officer recognised the alleged outlaw motorcycle club gang member and followed him.

As police approached he drove off, touring right on to Braund Rd.

The officer followed as he turned into Lavender Lane and finally on to the dead end Luburnum Ave.

The man allegedly resisted arrest from the solo police officer who had to use capsicum spray to subdue him.

The arresting officer was not injured.

He was allegedly found to be in possession of the illicit drug fantasy, a knife and a Taser.

He was charged with driving a vehicle without registration plates, failing to obey a reasonable direction, hindering police, resisting police, carrying offensive weapon, possessing a dangerous article and trafficking in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug.

He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in Tuesday.

Police from the Crime Gangs Task Force searched a nearby premises on Olive St following the arrest.

No one was at home when police conducted the search but officers located an amount of fantasy, an amount of precursor, two ice pipes and two sets of electronic scales.
