Goolwa man, 43, and Andrews Farm man, 49, charged with trafficking methamphetamine

A HELL’S Angels bikie arrested this morning after raids on two premises and another gang member arrested in September will face drug trafficking charges in court.

Crime Gangs Task Force officers arrested a Goolwa man, 43, this morning after searching premises at Goolwa and later at the Hell’s Angels clubrooms at Collinswood.

The accused charged with trafficking a controlled drug and bailed to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on May 29.

On September 1 last year, Crime Gangs detectives stopped a vehicle at Prospect and arrested an Andrews Farm man, 49, after he allegedly discarded an item, later confirmed to be illegal drugs before running off.

“He was arrested a short distance away and the discarded item was found to be an amount of methylamphetamine,’’ a police spokesman said.

He faces a charge of trafficking a controlled drug, two counts of assaulting police and hindering police and was bailed to the District Court of South Australia on April 7.
