  • A BUSTY bikini model with links to a killer bikie has been accused of importing drugs.

Raquel Yasmine Petit — a glamorous Gold Coast girl who has her own bikini line — faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today charged with importing steroids into Victoria between July 10, 2015 and November 2, 2016.

She is also facing charges of possessing and trafficking a commercial quantity of steroids.

Police will allege she also dealt with proceeds of crime, being $46,920 cash, between April 2015 and May 2016.

Dressed modestly in black pants and a white shirt, her long brunette hair in a ponytail, Ms Petit, 24, sat quietly throughout the brief hearing.

No details of the allegations against her were aired in court.

The former Miss V8 Super Cars grid girl, who has almost 150,000 Instagram followers, was charged on November 13.

Her lawyer told the magistrate that she normally lives in Queensland.

Her court appearance came a day after her Mongols bikie ex-boyfriend, Wade Yates-Taui, 25, was sentenced to 7½ years’ jail over the 2013 stabbing death of a Bandidos bikie associate in Queensland.

Petit founded her own bikini brand, Petitkini.

The cagefighter, a patched member of the outlaw motorcycle gang, fled to the United States after the killing.

US marshals pounced on him in Los Angeles 10 months later: Ms Petit, who was then dating him, had posted photos online of their travels, which reportedly led them to him.

During the extradition application, Ms Petit shouted her love for her boyfriend from the public gallery.

As police led him out of the court, Yates-Taui replied: “I love you too”, before advising her: “Don’t talk to anyone.”

The Herald Sun does not suggest Ms Petit was in any way involved in Yates-Taui’s criminal behaviour.

The pair are no longer together.

Ms Petit’s social media accounts are littered with posts with a new beau she often calls the “love of my life”.

According to her modelling profile she is an “international swimwear and photographic model” who has been a brand ambassador for Jim Beam, Harley-Davidson and the Hard Rock Cafe.

She also claims to be the face of Wild Orchid Australia swimwear.

She started and designed her own seamless, micro-cut bikini brand, Petitkini.

Ms Petit is due back in court in March.
