Accused with links to Bandidos bikie gang pleads guilty to stabbing two men in Brisbane night club

Posted

A man with links to the Bandidos criminal motorcycle gang has pleaded guilty to stabbing two men in a Brisbane nightclub fight.

James Holt, 23, got into a fight in Fortitude Valley's "Hot Gossip" nightclub in September 2013.

The court was shown disturbing CCTV and police footage from the night.

It showed Holt taking a folding knife from his pocket after two of his friends, members of the Bandidos bikie gang, started fighting with two other men near the bar.

Holt repeatedly stabbed a 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old man who suffered life threatening injuries.

As the courtroom was shown the footage, Holt sat in the dock, jiggling his leg and looking away.

He has pleaded guilty to two counts of malicious act with intent, unlawful possession of a weapon, and drug possession.

Holt is due to be sentenced on Thursday.
