Matthews and Azzopardi have both been
named in court previously as members of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle
gang.
Matthews was in court on Monday when Azzopardi got a sentence of seven years and
nine months for killing cyclist Gordon Ibbs at Anakie on May 10, 2015.
Azzopardi had pleaded guilty to counts of dangerous driving causing death, leaving the scene of an accident and three other charges.
Matthews confronted journalists on the steps of the court after the sentencing, trying to rip a camera out of the hands of a newspaper photographer.
The heated tussle was captured by camera crews from the commercial TV networks.
