Police executed two warrants in connection with the Bandidos in Coburg North.

Police seize guns, fireworks in Bandidos raid

UPDATE: Task Force Echo detectives have charged a man with alleged links to the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang following the execution of warrants in Melbourne’s north this morning.

A 43-year-old Thornbury man has been charged with possess unregistered handgun, possess ammunition and drug offences. He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 27 November 2017.

A 54-year-old Coburg North man has been released pending further enquiries.

Earlier this morning, detectives executed two warrants in connection with the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang in Coburg North.

The Herald Sun understands a man linked to the bikie gang who police have targeted this morning is a 43-year-old who was injured in a shooting outside the Bandidos clubhouse in Brunswick in April.

Two other men were also injured in that shooting.

However, the police activity this morning is not directly linked to that shooting.

Investigators found firearms, ammunition and fireworks during the warrant.
