The case against five Victorian men was thrown out of court on Monday.

A high-profile lawyer has rubbished Queensland's anti-bikie laws after a case involving his clients was thrown out of court on Monday.

Prosecutors could offer no evidence against five Victorian men, dubbed the `ice-cream bikies', who were arrested in January last year on anti-association charges while holidaying on the Gold Coast.

Bill Potts, representing two of the men, said the whole exercise would have cost taxpayers upwards of $500,000 and was further evidence the laws - which he claims are yet to result in a single conviction across the state - were flawed.
