A Rebels motorcycle gang member has been arrested after a loaded gun was found in the boot of a car in Adelaide's west, police say.
Detectives went to the Kilburn home about 8:30pm on Wednesday where they found the loaded sawn-off .22 calibre bolt action rifle in the boot of a car.
The 50-year-old Kilburn man, a Rebels motorcycle gang member, was arrested and charged with aggravated possession of a firearm without a licence, breaching a firearm prohibition order and breaching of bail.
A 24-year-old man from Blair Athol was also arrested and charged with possession of a firearm.
Both men have been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court this afternoon.
Police are investigating possible links to the firearm being stolen from a western suburbs home in 2014.
