Armed Crime Taskforce detectives believe multiple shots were fired into vehicles in an industrial estate in Norton Drive, Melton, just before 10pm.
Satan's Soldiers' Melton club has its headquarters in the same street and police are said to be investigating a link between the shootings and an outlaw motorcycle gang.
At least three cars were damaged and two men later went to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with what are believed to be gunshot wounds.
A 38-year-old Point Cook man remains in hospital an arm injury which is serious but not life-threatening. A second man, 28, of Melton, was treated for superficial injuries and released.

Last week, on February 26, six motorcyclists and their passengers, believed to be members of Satan's Soldiers were involved in a collision on the Western Highway near to Bacchus Marsh. They were taken to three hospitals and the highway at Bacchus Marsh was closed for several hours while the road was cleared.
The 45th anniversary of Satan's Soldiers Motorcycle Club Australia will be held on March 23, a Facebook page states.
